The very first People in my Australian Life where Sandra and Rudi

with their then tiny and very delightful daughter Kim.

Sandra and Rudi now...and Kim then...

Sandra and daughter Kim welcomed Theres and myself at the airport in Hobart.

 They offered me a job working in their Dental Laboratory in Hobart,

and had arranged a flat for us in Regent Street. 

Their Swiss friends had put together some necessities like cookware and bedding and some food in the fridge. 

We felt very welcome indeed.

I no longer work for Sandra and Rudi as I have my own small business now, but we have remained friends to this day.
