Reiki is not a religion, it is a healing energy from God. It involves no doctrines, creeds or con­tradictions to the Universal Laws of Spiritual Consciousness and Unconditional Love. No matter where a person may be at any point in his or her life, Reiki will harmonize and embrace his or her philosophical center point, adding to it the Divine Presence. Reiki opens the heart to expand the holographic sphere of our love consciousness.

Reiki is part of the Emerald Ray, and is served under the direction of the Reiki Masters in spirit. They direct the healing and initiatory energy of Reiki. Once the individual is attuned to Reiki through initiations, he is permanently connected to the Reiki energy. To set the Reiki healing energy in motion, the initiate needs not alter his or her consciousness. He only needs to think “Reiki" and allow the energy to flow into him or her from God and then out of his or her hands. Meditation, prayer and imaging does assist many persons in centering their conscious mind to open the higher self to being an in­strument of healing.

Simply placing one's hands on oneself, or another person, and opening to the flow of the Reiki energy, allows this energy to flow through the individual. It fills the healer's body first and then flows out from the heart through the healer's hands into the individual who is receiving the healing.

Reiki energy comes from God through the Brotherhood of Light, the Masters of the Seven Rays, to the Reiki hierarchy itself. There are, for each of the Ten levels of human initiation, Rays (specific bands of colours surrounding an individual's head, often seen without clairvoyance) through which we must pass. Persons initiated into the Reiki Ray quickly illumine and attune to the Fifth Ray of Truth. This is an extremely powerful healing energy. It is one of the forms of healing that can be used to heal oneself.

Reiki will either give or take away the proper amount of energy needed to balance the Mind, Body and Emotions. It will effect change in the chemical structure of the body, helping to rebuild muscles, nerves, skeletal structure, and regenerating organs. It will provide the energy to balance and straighten the spine. It will change anything that needs to be changed within the physical and etheric organism.

Reiki healing is a pure energy form. When it is combined with the sincere desire of the healee, who is willing to effect a cleansing within his or her emotional and spiritual consciousness, a total healing occurs.

We must always remember that the energy of the God‑Force is neutral and awaits positive, productive empowerment by the healee. The healer plays an instrumental part in transformation, and yet, ultimately it is up to the healee to manifest harmony and balance in his or her own fife.

The healer is a channel and must not allow his "Ego‑Will” to desire the healee well. A healer must be a clear vessel through which the Reiki Ray flows. This allows the highest soul purpose to be the outcome of the healing. Then no karmic debt can be incurred by the desire of the healer's own ego.

Healing is effected when the healer can allow Divine Will to replace his own Will, so that he truly feels "Thy Will Be Done, Not Mine!' This will allow healing to reach the "highest soul purpose" for the healee, rather than having his ego desire or dictate through control and fear, limiting the healing process. The personality needs, be in total alignment with "Thy Will”, which is achieved through the act of surrendering "the little me consciousness" and trusting in the "God­Self."
